Development of transparent conductive film

Transparent Conductive film (Transparent Conductive Oxide, TCO) are (1) in the visible light range with high Transparent rate (2) a film with Conductive properties, of a few hundred nanometer grain size of polycrystalline layer, it is mainly used for photoelectric devices such as the Transparent electrode of LCD, touch screen, Transparent electrode of thin film solar cells, the light transmittance and electrical conductivity are two competing indicators, in general, electrical conductivity, light transmittance will fall and vice versa. Currently, common transparent conductive films include ITO (Indium Tin Oxides doped with Indium trioxide), GZO (Gallium Zinc Oxides doped with Zinc oxide) and AZO(Aluminum Zinc Oxides doped with Zinc oxide), which only absorb ultraviolet light but do not absorb visible light, and are "transparent" conductive films. Research on transparent conductive film materials started in the late 19th century, when thin metal films were applied on photoconductive materials. By 1950, the second type of transparent conductive film In2O3 was made, and ITO conductive film began to be widely used in transparent conductive film. In the last 20 years, the application of transparent conductive film is mainly made of ITO materials, while the manufacturing process is mainly made of magnetic control spatter plating process.
